About Me
About Trent Skinner
I have been married to April for 7 years. We are expecting our fourth child. Isaiah, 6, goes to Perkins Academy and is entering first grade. He is very active and enjoys many activities, including Baseball, Football, Basketball and Sunday School. Trinity, 4, starts her second year in preschool and is a typical 4 year old girl going on 18. Quinton, 2, loves to follow around his older brother and sister. He enjoys eating and playing with any kind of ball. They all are excited to help out with the new baby girl, due November 16th. After graduating from Hoover High School in Des Moines I moved to Palm Desert, California. In sunny California I played basketball for a year at a Junior College, then I began to coach. Five years into coaching, April and I decided to move to Iowa to be close to my family. (It was not as easy as I just made it out to be!) I moved back and started to sell Grimes Sweetcorn and also started a career with Enterprise Rent A Car. After almost five years there, I decided to go into Real Estate. My work experience joined with my education and coaching background will benefit you in all your real estate needs. Don and I know the importance of coaching you through the home buying and selling process. It would be our pleasure to help you. Please call us today to turn a house into your home today!
Let us coach with your real estate needs by turning houses into homes - one family at a time!
About Donald C. Skinner
I have been married to Peggy for 36 years and we have three grown children and three grandchildren - and two more coming this year! Troy (Leticia) & Troy Jr.; Trent (April) & Isaiah & Trinity; and Traci (Adam) Crabb. We have weekly family dinner's to ensure Grandma and Grandpa spend quality time with our grandchildren. I have been in the real estate mortgage business for 35 years, so I know the trials and tribulations one goes through buying or selling a home. As a retired Hospital Commander with the US Army (reserves -21 years), I learned the importance of discipline. Concurrently, I continued taking classes and in conjunction with the military received my Ph.D. I was the assistant varsity boy's basketball coach at Hoover for 13 years and in 1998, we finished State runner-up. (Congratulations to Hoover, the 2006 Class 4-A Boys State Champion.) I know the results of hard work, dedication, commitment and teamwork.
My 35 years in real estate lending coupled with my 21-year military experience joined with my education and coaching background will benefit you in all your real estate needs. Trent and I know the importance of coaching you through the home buying and selling process. It would be our pleasure to help you. Please call us today to turn a house into your home today!
